Back in March 1977 Niki Lauda (who drove for March in 1972) drove a Ferrari to victory in the South African Grand Prix . The pole sitter was James Hunt who famously bred budgies and drove an A35. But not in the Grand Prix. Did you also know there were 33 Grand Prix races in South Africa. Not only that, 33 is a palindrome in binary (100001) and is a master number in numerology representing balance, expression, and divine guidance. And furthermore the 33rd element on the periodic table is Arsenic, a metalloid often found in many common foods, including apples and rice.

2025 Events
Not an awful lot happening in the early part of 2025 but there are a good number of events on the website some of which you should get your name down for ASAP. Which someone pointed out the other day can also mean As Slow As Possible.

Found while trawling around the internet this seems to be fascinating place to visit. So we plan to go there on 5 April.
Drive It Day – 24 – 27 April
The annual get your classic out thing. It’s the 20th anniversary this year and you have the once in a lifetime chance to take part. And do it over 4 days as well. Such fun!
Or alternatively drive down to Hastings on the day and meet up with us there. The only details we have appear at page 53 of the last TR Action. South Downs GL has been asked for more detail and this information is yet to be received.

You may notice the lack of anything recent but that’s because nobody was looking at the films. Barry is quite happy to upload the more recent epics but we need your support.
