TRR Scottish Weekend at Doune & Outer Hebrides

This trip combines a visit to the TRR Scottish Weekend at Doune with a follow on tour of the Outer Hebrides.

For those wishing to participate in the Outer Hebrides Tour only, it would be possible to join the tour at Oban on 21st May ready for the ferry to Barra departing at 13.10 that afternoon.
Travelling northwards up the 130 mile island chain, the tour comprises two nights on Barra, two nights on South and North Uist and four nights on the island of Lewis and Harris. En route we will explore the history and culture of these islands and experience the stunning beauty of the countryside, white sand beaches and wildlife for which the area is famous for. Our return journey will be via ferry from Stornaway to Ullapool followed by a 2-day drive South through the Scottish mainland, home.
Booking of ferries and accommodation will need to be made ASAP. Approx cost of the four ferries – car and two passengers is £250 – £300 (inc. a stunning 5-hour ferry from Oban to Barra and a 4-hour crossing from Stornaway to Ullapool).
