A large display of military history, from Agincourt to the present day.
We will congregate from 9.30am near Jane Austen’s House in Chawton, GU34 1SD, ready to leave at 10am and take a pleasant drive out to the RLC Museum at Worthy Down, SO21 2RG. We will have a guided tour by the knowledgeable and genial curator Edward Waithe-Roberts who is very active in the field of military transport history. Edward is a keen former owner of several TRs and was very active in the TR register some 50 years ago.
Hot drinks are available on site. The donation of £5 per person is for our private guided tour.
The Car Park & Museum are located on the left before entering the camp.
