Event Registration

There are two types of registration: standard and pre-payment

When you register for a standard event you will see a thank-you message, be added to the list of attendees and receive a confirmation email.

When you register for a pre-payment event you will be taken to the Stripe portal to make a card payment. On completion you will return to the event page, be added to the list of attendees, receive a confirmation email and a payment receipt from Stripe. If you decline payment you will not be registered for the event and will have to start the registration process over again.

If more than one person is attending the event, a field will display where you may list the names of all the attendees.

Cancellation Refund Policy

If you cancel an event registration prior to the club paying the event provider. You will be entitled to receive a full refund (excluding the original card transaction charge).

No refunds are available once the event provider has been paid.

Registration Cutoff Date

Events will have a cutoff date after which you can no longer register. There are a number of reasons why we need to do this. For example:

• Some venues require confirmed numbers prior to the event.
• Deposits may be required prior to the event.
• Food orders need to be collated and forwarded to the venue.
• Event organisers may need to prepare documentation and collect tickets.

Should you miss the cutoff you may still be able to attend but you will need to contact the event organiser or make your own arrangements with the venue.

Transaction Fee

Our web registration payment system is managed by a commercial company Stripe.

For each card payment transaction Stripe charges us 1.5% + 20p. We have added this charge to your payment total so that the club receives the full value of each payment transaction.
