Autumn Leaves Run

Twenty nine brave souls and three dogs gathered in the rain to start this annual, and increasingly popular run to view the glorious autumn colours to be found along the country roads around our patch.

The first half of the journey took us to Toad Hall Garden Centre where we stopped for coffee and a quick look at all the Christmas goodies on offer.

The sun came out for the second half of the trip and the trees and scenery, especially around Turville was a sight to see although, with the amount of water running off the fields it was like driving along a river on several occasions, on the plus side, this did help to wash the mud from the underside of the cars. However we all arrived safely at the 17th Century Dew Drop Inn in Hurley, in time for a lovely meal before leaving for home – and the sun was still shining!!
