WFTR Drive it Day Extended Weekend

A 3 night, 4 day trip to explore Kent.

Day 1 – Meet at Hogs Back Services for an approx 100 mile run to the Kent Battle of Britain Aircraft Museum at Hawkinge, which houses the worlds largest collection of Battle of Britain memorabilia, with over 700 crashed aircraft on display – CLICK to view Museum. Day 2 – A visit to Dover Castle to discover the story of Dunkirk in an immersive exhibition in the Secret Wartime Tunnels. CLICK to view website. If there is time remaining take a walk along the iconic Dover cliffs. CLICK to view website .

Day 3 – A relaxed drive out to Dungeness, a fascinating area with quirky buildings, converted railway carriages and a shingle beach to play on, or fly your kite!! – CLICK for more info . Then on to visit to Rye, one of the best preserved medieval towns in England where cobbled lanes are lined with medieval half-timbered houses and quirky museums, feudal inns and old stone churches tell of the regions chequered history – CLICK for more info

Day 4 – Drive down to Hastings to join “Drive it Day 2025” and meet at The Stade in Hastings – CLICK to view poster. Organised by the South East Region of the TR Register. Return home.
