Twyford Waterworks
7 Oct 2018
This is an open day at Twyford Waterworks and is a very popular end of season rally. On display will be steam engines, cars, stationary engines, demonstrations, displays and a miniature railway.
Enjoy an informative stroll around the waterworks with everything fully open and volunteers on hand to explain how it all used to work. Join a free guided tour to find out all about the waterworks.
The tea room offers hot or cold drinks, sandwiches, toasties, snacks, cake and ice cream. Picnic tables are also available around the site if you prefer to bring your own food.
All drivers must hold a current licence and bring their currant insurance certificate as they may be asked for it on demand.
We must be on site by 10am. Vehicles cannot move between 11am and 4pm without the prior consent of a Trust’s steward. We are asked to remain on site until at least 4.30pm. The gates close at 4pm and the public generally leave by 4.30pm.
