Leonardslee Gardens and Sunday Lunch
18 May 2025
An explosion of colour in West Sussex.
In 2019 Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens opened its doors after a closure of 10 years and has been the subject of the largest garden restoration in England, possibly Europe, and covers 750 acres.
The Spring Walk, which is 3.4km long and takes approximately 40 – 50 minutes, meanders through stunning Rhododendrons, Camellias, Azaleas and Magnolias and is dotted with beautiful sculptures by local artists. (All available for sale, but you’ll need deep pockets).
We will meet at the Hogs Back Services ready to leave at 9.15am for a run of approx. 1 hour

There are several cafes on site plus wallabies, a winery, gift shop, rock gardens, 7 lakes, and woodland areas so plenty to keep us occupied for a few hours.
Adult Entry is £16.50 if bought online but a group discount is available for 12 or more. This is a cashless attraction – cards only.

Sunday Lunch will be at The Hornbrook Inn, just 3 miles from the gardens. Pre-ordering will be required. We will contact you after the closing date for you to choose your food. Please be aware that this is a cashless venue – payment by card only.
We need to pay in advance for a group entry, £12.50 per person (a saving of £4 each). Plus a £5 deposit to secure our lunch booking at the Hornbrook Inn.
To confirm your place please re-register and pay £17.50 per person by 28th April and we will make the necessary bookings for you.
Both venues welcome dogs on short leads.
This event will close for registrations on 28th April 2025
