Drive It Day
After months of planning the day finally dawned and the committee and marshals gathered in the Amberley Station car park at 07.45 to prepare for the day ahead.
Sadly a few members were put off by the wet weather but in all we welcomed over 73 cars to the Amberley Museum.
Luckily Amberley has a lot of indoor entertainment and the train and bus that travel around the site meant that we had a great day without getting too wet. Wayne gave two extremely interesting presentations on the history of Drive It Day and the involvement with Childline.
The day finished with the raffle and prize giving and the ‘batton’ was passed to the London Group who will be organising Drive It Day 2024.
The sun came out just in time for the drive home.
