Standard Triumph Picnic
19 May 2019
The pre-1940 Triumph Motor Club are hosting a picnic for all Standard and Triumph car clubs at Wroxall Abbey sponsored by the TR Register. The format is simple – turn up in your Triumph with a picnic and marvel at the range of Standard and Triumph cars assembled on the lawns of this historic venue and revel in the celebrations of the Triumph Herald and Triumph ~TR6 anniversary. Through the TR Register it is intended that a run form as many Groups as possible to the venue will be organised with details to be released soon.
We will meet in the car park at Tesco’s, The Meadows, Camberley ready for an 8.30am departure. From here we will take a non-motorway route North of approximately 115 miles to Wroxall Abbey. Our route will take in scenic A and B roads passing through Henley-on-Thames, Wallingford, Oxford, Banbury and proceeding on to Warwick and Wroxall Abbey Hotel & Estate where we aim to arrive by 11.30am in time for the festivities.
In all the run is timed at between 2hrs 45mins to 3.00 hours.
